I'm really getting into this whole being a brunette thing, soon I'll be venturing back into the world of YELLOW! A colour I have sworn off for many years for fear of making my hair look less white. Yeah. Platinum Blonde Life is a lot more high maintenance than this. I'M JUST BEGINNING TO LIVE!
In other news.... its basically fall here. I want out.

Jash doesn't like taking photos that are in focus because he's an artist. In fact, that reminds me of when he made a painting for a local art show called "Edmonton Crash Pad" curated by Sheri Barclay and he was credited as "Josh Styles". They truly thought that was his name. From now on he will be referred to as Josh Styles.
Anyway... Sir Styles has returned to Blighty much to my dismay so now I need to make the grande move as soon as possible.
Fun day with Jash in his ol haunt Vancouver. Brunch at Cafe Medina, followed with trapsing around downtown and then a drive to the lovely area of UBC. After a long day of funzies we capped it off with two dinners... unintentionally.
First we started off at Salt which would have satisfied any normal human being. Jash being a food enthusiast as well as the best chef I know.... we had to pay a visit to his previous kitchen at West.
Please note that these photos do not include every course at West, nor do they show the amount of wine, cheese, bread, and condiments consumed at our first stop, Salt. Dangerously full.
I ended up island hopping while I was away and it ruled. Visited my parents for about 5 minutes - enough time to eat a truly stellar pizza. Unfortunately I was so anxious to get off the tug that I forgot the box of leftovers on the ferry! Bummer.
Made our way to the coast and off to the islands for our friends 1 year wedding anniversary, we managed to make it from east vancouver to the ferry terminal in TWENTY-TWO MINUTES. That is an amazing feat that I attribute to my friend Sara and I shouting at Jash to "Move [his] ace!!!" from the backseat.
The weekend cabin party was just as wild as the wedding itself. Friends disappearing in a rowboat for 5 hours in the blaring sun, DLR (david lee roth) jumps off the raft, delicious eats, radicool hats, gay adventurers, ridiculous ferry rides, THE WORKS.
