Summer's last hurrah. It pains me to look at these photographs knowing that there's frost on the ground; the temperature hovering around zero. Harvey and I had been conspiring this shoot for quite some time and I'm glad we finally got around to it while the weather was affable. The location was an entrance to a parking garage, which made things mildly awkward at points. We had begun the Wayne's World routine of "car!".... "game on" at which point my inner (and outer) goof made a timely appearance.

Downtown Edmonton, while quite modest, is full of strange nooks and crannies. After all these years I am still discovering new things.

Who would have thought the entrance to the Library's parkade would make for such a great place for photos? These are awesome.

Oh my gosh, that is an amazing location! I want one duplicated right here, next to my house or something. It's magical! You look so cute. That simple white dress is given a nice dose of sex appeal with those gorgeous ankle-strap heels. And your sunglasses are darling.

May the force be with you.

This is beautiful! I love the dress and the colours! My bus drove by this library every day when I worked downtown and I never even went to see the gorgeous lights. I can't believe I missed such a perfect photo op!
