If there was one type of food I could eat forever it would be a tie between Mexican and Japanese. In this case, tacos are winning by a landslide. Native Tongues Taqueria in Calgary is beyond a taste sensation, just thinking about their grilled corn makes both my mouth and eyes water. It is definitely one of my go-to’s in town, even if I’m passing through; they do takeaway, and that includes their insanely creamy horchatas. Not only is the food incredible but all of the staff are incredibly helpful when trying to make hard food decisions when you’re borderline hangry. The atmosphere is great and I could spend hours just staring at all the flare they have hanging on the walls and from the ceilings.
Last but not least, dessert: FLAN MEXICANA – spanish flan, caramel, coconut, almond, plantain
