Over the course of the year a lot of cosmetics breeze through my washroom. Some seem good to begin with only to disappoint in the long run, some are a slow burn into total infatuation, and most are overwhelmingly disappointing. The few products I have tried from Charlotte Tilbury so far have all been complete knockouts. They’re pigmented, easy to apply, and consistent. Suffice to say I’m excited to try out more products from this line but in the meantime, here are my favourites.
The Colour Chameleon Eyeshadow Stick blew my mind with its epic pigmentation. It is very true to its colour when applied to the skin. It’s creamy but doesn’t crease too much over time – it is definitely long lasting. The real winner for me though, is the mascara. I don’t have a lot to work with in the lash department so every single one counts. The wand has a multitude of bristles in varying lengths going in all directions which seems to evenly distribute the mascara along my lash line. It is one of my all time favourite products I’ve tried in 2016 hands down!
I can never get enough of coral lipstick. I must have at least 10 different coral lipsticks but the Coachella Coral is so different from what I already own. It’s super pigmented but it’s also a deeper shade of coral which I love. I lined my lips with Pink Venus, added the Coachella Coral, and finished it off with a bit of lip gloss in Portabello Girl and voila! The perfect summer lip. The double colour blush also adds more dimension than an average cheek colour.
