Last month I flew out to Vancouver to meet up with my oldest friend Cecily for her birthday weekend. It was dreary for the duration we were there which wasn’t surprising in the least.
Armed with the partially broken umbrella, we ate all the sushi, drank our fair share of almond milk lattes, and hiked up a couple mountains. We even made some time to walk around Queen Elizabeth Park before an impending storm. As you can see, there were some picturesque views!
I wore my mom’s old wool coat that I have had a fondness for since we recovered it 7 years ago. I really need to find a tailor to make me another one as the lining is shreds now. Anyone else hold on to items past their prime?
On another note – these western-esque boots from ALDO have served me very well. I have put on quite a few miles in them from Vancouver to Palm Springs then Calgary and back again to Edmonton. They are so comfortable and seemingly work with everything I want to wear in my closet right now; MVP of my wardrobe.
